WWW Wednesdays!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature from Should Be Reading.

To play along, just answer the following 3 questions:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll be reading next?

So here are my answers:

What are you you currently reading?

It ready does live up to the hype. The first few chapters are a little difficult to get through, but once you go further, it'll suck you in.  And last night, I watched the first episode(I couldn't help it!) because I was so curious as to how the book characters look like.

What did you recently finish reading?

I love this book! It went straight to my favorites bookshelf!
This book truly has it all -

 Fencing.
Fighting.
Torture.
Poison.
True Love.
Hate.
Revenge.
Giants.
Hunters.
Good men.
Bad men.
Beautifulest ladies.
Snakes.
Spiders.
Beasts of all natures and descriptions.
Pain.
Death.
Brave men.
Coward men.
Strongest men.
Chases.
Escapes.
Lies.
Truths.
Passion.
Miracles.

I'm looking forward to re-reading this in the future.

What do you think you'll be reading next?

It will probably take a while for me to finish GoT 1 as I have loads of other things to do this month. But I'll definitely read this one next because a lot of my friends are convincing me to read it.

Happy reading everyone!

Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the wonderful The Broke and The Bookish.

Right now, I'm totally swamped with great books but there never seem to be enough time to read all of them, which admittedly, is kinda frustrating. #bookwormproblems

On the other hand, I need to start reading med books as early as now for preparation and stick to my study schedule. You see, I dislike cramming more than anything. Thinking about it makes me miss leisure reading already; but moreover, there are several reasons why I'm excited because I'll be delving into a new and challenging world of medicine.

So here's what's on my Winter TBR:

1. Game of Thrones A Song of Ice and Fire - Earlier, I bought the 5-book boxed set I've been dreaming about for so long. My older sister and I spent a portion of our Christmas allowance to buy it and I cannot wait to dive into the world of GoT. I know I'm late to the party!

2. Eleanor and Park - I'm really intrigued by this book as there's a lot of buzz about it and I would always see it on the "bestseller" display section at the local bookstores.

3. Delirium - This is my current read and I'm really enjoying it so far! But GoT is competing for my attention so I think I'll just finish this first book and then lay it off for a while.

4. I Heart Christmas - a Christmas read recommended by Zoella.

5. Let It Snow - another Christmas treat. Yay!

6. If I Stay - a good friend of mine has been telling me to read this nonstop.

7. Anna and the French Kiss - a feel good book perfect for the holidays!

8. Why We Broke Up

9. Everyday - This one's really interesting, it's about a guy who switches up a different person's body everyday and falls in love with the same girl.

10. All American Girl - I admit I haven't read a single Meg Cabot book. I know, its ridiculous. But if ever, I'd like this to be my first.

Happy reading everyone!

the sunday currently, volume 10

Earlier, my mom and I woke up 6:30 in the morning and rushed to the nearest store to buy additional ingredients for the birthday cupcakes that needs to be delivered this afternoon. And for that matter, I'm kind of in a rush right now. Have a great day ahead!

R E A D I N G Delirium by Lauren Oliver. I've read so many good reviews about this book from book blogs that I religiously follow so I thought I'd give it a go. Aside from that, the story is set up in a dystopian society, which I'm wholly interested in, where people believed that love is a disease.

red velvet wedding cupcakes

Hey guys! How's your first week of December so far? I hope you're all doing great and excited for the upcoming holidays! As for me, I've been baking up a storm since the last week of November.

December has always been a busy month for me. What with all the weddings, birthdays and special occasions left and right, our pastries and cake orders from customers are especially high during this time. I've mentioned before on my previous post that my mom and I are running a small bakeshop and ever since I was twelve, I loved helping my mom out in the kitchen. Baking is included on my top 5 favorite things to do so just imagine my delight baking away massive amounts of cupcakes, fudge bars, cakes and cookies every year. The only downside really is that I have a sweet tooth and it doesn't actually help my waistline! Anyway, I'd like to show you some of the lovely creations we've made this week.

This is for Keith and Hannah's wedding giveaways. The bride specifically wanted the first letters of their names to be placed on the cupcakes. I made a total of 300 H and Ks which took me three days to complete, including the dainty sugar flowers. I started last Monday and boy did I realize that you got to have loads of patience and time in making them as they require meticulous handling.

This is what our dining table looked like yesterday - full of delicious and heavenly red velvet cupcakes! Of course, I had to make a few extras for our consumption.

Even Chowder loved them.

Here's the finished product. The cupcakes are housed in cute little customized boxes. Hannah picked them up earlier and she loved it! :)

That's all for today! I'm off to bake cupcakes again, this time for a baby boy's one-year old birthday!

Happy weekend! :)

I'm enjoying this immensely and I cannot wait to find out what fate awaits the lovely couple, Buttercup and Westley.

What did you recently finish reading?

It has a complex, emotional and profound story, on which Murakami is widely known, and this is really great for Murakami beginners.

What do you think you'll be reading next?

I'm intrigued by the concept of this book wherein love is regarded as a disease and it's set on a dystopian society. I can't wait to read this!

Happy reading everyone!

December Goals

I just love the satisfaction of crossing things off my to-do list! So here's how I did last month:

Last month's goals were:

1. Finish 4 books. CHECK! I read a total of 8 books, that's double the amount I was aiming for. The books were: Twenties Girl, Norweigian Wood, The Book Thief, Insurgent, Allegiant, Hopeless, Love Virtually and Sputnik Sweetheart. Also, I was able to complete my Goodreads 2013 reading challenge!

2. Lower my weight down to 125 lbs. Well, I'm 3 lbs. short on this one but even so, I'm glad I was able to kick-start my fitness regime.

3. Drink at least 2 L of water everyday. Check! Thanks to my reliable water bottle which holds 2 L of liquid.

4. Start my food business for the holidays ahead. Check!! We've got plenty of orders lined up and its gonna be super busy and fun!

5. Exchange blog buttons with other bloggers. Done! See my Daily Reads section.

I'm determined to complete this month's goals just because it is the last month of 2013!

Goals for December:

1. Workout 3-4 times a week.

2.  Create a DIY project.

3. Drink lots of water.

4. Save money!

5. Enjoy time with my loved ones and take lots of pictures.

6. Read 3 books.

7. Try 2 new recipes for our Christmas and New Year feasts.

What are your goals this month? Link up here! :)

Ten things about the holidays!

http://endlesslybeloved.blogspot.com/search/label/ten%20favorite%20things

It's the December issue of ten favorite things by Brianna.
The link up will go live the first Monday of every month and each month will have a unique topic. This month's topic is "Ten things about the holidays". Click on the photo above and join the fun!

[one] Family - Nothing would make the holidays happier than spending time with them, as the time we have together seems to slip away morea and more quickly as we grow up. Family is the BEST part of the holidays.

[two] Gifts - I love love giving and receiving gifts. The process of wrapping them up makes me giddy and excited too! I won't be receiving gifts/money from my aunts and uncles as I'm already a working gal but my friends and I are already planning for our annual Kris Kringle, so I'm really looking forward to that. I also like giving special baked goodies as gifts for my loved ones.

[three] Bakeshop business - my mom and I are selling home baked goods - cupcakes, pastries, cakes, fudge bars - and we even cater for parties. Our orders from customers are especially high during this time so it'll be a very busy month for us.

[four] Noche Buena - When the clock strikes 12 midnight on December 24th, the most special foods abound and it isn't the time to worry about calories, I tell ya! We would take hours in preparing them beforehand and its really something when you get to actually eating them already. The typical Filipino Noche Buena menu consists of Christmas ham, pasta/lasagna, fruit salad/coconut/macaroni/potato salad, quezo de bola, chicken(roasted or relleno), pancit, and Filipino delicacies like Picchi picchi and bibingka.

[five] Foods - I think everyone has this one on their list. Where's the fun in the holidays without sumptuous and delectable foods to share, right? Also, chestnut vendors are popping up everywhere, which is one of my ultimate favorite foods during the holidays! Others are Christmas ham, puto bumbong, bibingka, chicken relleno, baby back ribs, fruit cocktail, buko pandan, roasted turkey, pancit and many more! This is the perfect time to indulge and let go of your weight woes until next year.

[six] Christmas lights around the city - Here in Manila, people would set up their Christmas decors as early as September-October. It's one of the things that I look forward to every year. Each year, we visit a popular street where houses are lined with abundant and colorful Christmas lights and decorations exactly like the photo above. Plenty of people would visit the place and there are some who would even set up little food, trinket, and beauty kiosks on the sidewalk. I can't wait to see it again this year!

[seven] Christmas greetings/cards - I really like receiving these especially when they're from my immediate family and close friends, whether in the form of emails, texts, voice mails, and my favorite, an actual greeting card.

[eight] Cold weather - the perfect time to bundle up, get cozy by the fire place, go to places like Baguio and Tagaytay, and visit our favorite coffee shop for that perfect hot choco/coffee(on an daily basis).

[nine] Good vibes everywhere - Notice that people are extra kind, generous and happy during the holidays, that's cause there's little or nothing to be sad about!

[ten] Christmas carols - I love watching kids and grown ups alike play Christmas carols in the streets. It reminds me of my carefree and beatific childhood!
